Licenses & Certifications

Every Credential Below Is Publicly Verifiable

Anyone can print "licensed and insured" on a truck.

Restoration is a category people enter in an emergency, at speed, usually without checking anything. That is exactly why unlicensed operators do so well in it.

So here is everything, with the numbers, so you can look it up instead of taking our word for it. If a competitor will not give you the same page, that is information too.

What this means for you: a C-10 authorizes us to perform the electrical work a water or fire loss creates, and a B authorizes the reconstruction that follows. Holding both is why we can contract the mitigation and the rebuild together. California requires a license for any project over $500 in combined labor and materials, and carriers use CSLB licensure to confirm a contractor is eligible for claim work.

What this means for you: IICRC certification confirms training in the published standards, not in one company's habits. It matters most on an insurance claim, where carriers and adjusters frequently prefer or require IICRC-certified contractors, because a documented S500 drying process is far harder to dispute than an undocumented one.

Credentials are the floor, not the ceiling.

A license proves somebody is allowed to do the work. It does not prove the person who shows up at your door has been trained, background-checked, or is even employed by the company whose name is on the invoice.

Our technicians are direct W-2 employees, not day labor and not rotating subcontractors. The crew that documents your loss on day one is the crew that closes it out.

W-2 Technicians

Direct employees, covered by workers' compensation. No labor brokers.

Credential questions

Look up CSLB #1158693 on the Contractors State License Board website. It will show the licensed entity, the classifications, the bond, the expiration date, and any disciplinary history. We link straight to our record on this page. Checking takes about thirty seconds and you should do it for every contractor who bids your job, not just us.

C-10 is the electrical contractor classification: panels, circuits, wiring, fixtures. B is General Building, which authorizes construction, reconstruction, alteration, and repair of structures. Restoration work needs both if one company is going to dry a property out and then rebuild it, and most restoration companies carry only one of the two.

IICRC publishes the standards the restoration industry works to, including S500 for water damage restoration and S520 for mold remediation. Insurance carriers and adjusters routinely prefer, and sometimes require, IICRC-certified contractors on claim work, because certification means the drying and remediation followed a recognized protocol, rather than somebody's habit.

Yes. We carry the contractor bond California requires, issued by Jet Insurance Company under bond number BX0086712, and it is listed on our CSLB record alongside the license. Certificates of insurance are provided on request, and we can name an additional insured for commercial and property-management clients.

All electrical, low-voltage, and restoration technicians are direct W-2 employees. For building trades outside our classifications we manage a vetted bench of trade partners under our own contract and schedule, so accountability stays with us instead of being passed around.
